King of the "grill"
Ethan and I made these for my husband for Father's Day. He is truly the king of the "grill" so it was a fun theme to go off of this year. We found these on the Family Fun website.
We made chocolate cupcakes and cream cheese frosting tinted black and gray (for the slats).
Hot dogs-hot tamales with black gel grill marks. We applied all the grill marks with a toothpick.
Kabobs- red, green and yellow fruit slices cut in squares and caramel shaped and cut into meat. We used a toothpick for the skewer.
Chicken-caramel squares cut and shaped into chicken
Hamburger-grasshopper cookie with a orange Starburst flattened into a slice of cheese. I wish I could have found a smaller cookie for the burger but you get the idea.
*we used a little orange sugar to look like hot charcoal.
Happy Father's Day!
